APTA EXPO brings together transit agencies, manufacturers, technology providers, and industry leaders from across North America.
For Damera Group of Companies, the event presented an opportunity to showcase its transportation solutions, strengthen relationships with industry partners, and introduce right-sized minibuses.
IRIES developed two exhibition design concepts for Damera's participation at APTA EXPO 2026:
- a cost-efficient version
- and a more premium solution.
Both concepts were designed to accommodate two vehicles, maximize brand visibility, and create a comfortable, functional environment for visitors and business conversations.
Our initial premium exhibition concept featured illuminated lightboxes, a dedicated meeting room, and a large overhead hanging structure designed to maximize brand visibility across the exhibition hall. The layout combined an impressive architectural presence with dedicated spaces for vehicle displays, private meetings, and visitor engagement.
As we evaluated the budget, construction requirements, and visitor experience, we developed a more cost-efficient modular solution.
The revised design prioritized more open space for visitors, creating better circulation around the vehicles and a more welcoming environment for conversations and product demonstrations.
We also increased the height of the main branded wall, allowing it to serve as a prominent visual landmark across the exhibition hall and provide some of the visibility benefits of the suspended structure, without the additional complexity and expense of overhead rigging.
This approach helped us preserve the exhibition's visual impact while simplifying construction, optimizing the budget, and making the space more functional for visitors.
The result was a practical balance between brand visibility, visitor experience, and cost-effective exhibition design.
The exhibition stand was built in partnership with Hunter Expositions, bringing together IRIES' design concept and professional exhibition construction expertise.
The structure incorporated beMatrix modular frames, providing a flexible and reusable solution for the exhibition walls, branded elements, and functional areas.
To enhance the presentation of the vehicles and improve visibility across the exhibition space, we incorporated three 1,000W overhead quartz lights, delivering additional illumination to the display area.
Our collaborative approach, supported by partnerships with experienced exhibition contractors and access to modular exhibition systems, enables IRIES to design and deliver exhibition environments across North America. By working with local production and installation teams, we can adapt each project to the venue's requirements, optimize logistics and costs, and maintain consistent design quality regardless of location.
